Pier 32 Marina

Delightful day getting acquainted with this beautiful, clean and isolated marina. I read a review about the award-winning architecture and I just went there to check it out (not that I have a boat or plan to live in one, it would be awesome, I have a couple of friends following that lifestyle and they couldn't be happier). I was just curious to see how an isolated and not so well known area south of San Diego has been revitalized and also wanted to try the new restaurant out there (under remodelling during the Christmas holidays). There's a restaurant onsite as well, but it's more of a lunch place than a dinner place (I believe it closed at six the night we were there). I've eaten lunch there on one occasion and it was *fine* but nothing to really write home about (plus the prices seemed a bit high for what it was).
